While investigating a burglary, deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Joshua Craig and 36-year-old Courtney Roland both of Hopkinsville on Thursday for receiving stolen property and drug trafficking.
According to a report, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at a building along Bradshaw Road. While investigating, deputies reportedly saw video evidence that linked Craig and Roland to the burglary.
Deputies then executed a search warrant at a residence on Butler Road where Craig and Roland were located and arrested. During a search of the residence deputies recovered most of the stolen items and also reportedly found drug paraphernalia, marijuana, methamphetamine, psylocibin mushrooms and suspected fentanyl.
The pair was charged with receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000, three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and trafficking in marijuana.
