Several area high school basketball teams will jump right back into action after Christmas.
Today, Trigg County will take on Apollo at Edmonson County in a boys’ basketball game.
Todd County Central’s Lady Rebels also are at Edmonson County today and will play Marshall County.
On Friday, in boys’ basketball, Heritage Christian Academy is seeking its second straight win as it takes on host Caldwell County in the West Kentucky Shootout in Princeton.
Christian County is scheduled to play Simon Kenton at Lexington Christian. And Hopkinsville and University Heights Academy are both at Henderson County. The Tigers will play Owensboro Catholic and the Blazers will take on Warren Central.
Todd County Central travels to play Whitley County.
In girls’ basketball on Friday, Christian County will play Portland, Tenn., at the Lady of the South Invitational at Allen County-Scottsville.
Trigg County’s Lady Wildcats will play host Murray tomorrow early and then return to the floor Friday afternoon to take on Union County at Murray.
Caldwell County plays host to South Panola, Miss., at the West Kentucky Shootout.
