Hopkinsville High School Football Coach Dustin Lopez said that seniors Treston Kay, Artavius Moses and Amoni Johnson had received offers from Lindsey Wilson College to extend their football and academic careers.
Kay played wide receiver and caught 31 passes for 539 yards and eight touchdowns. He also rushed 41 times for 244 yards and three scores. Kay also returned three punts for a score and a fumble for a score.
On defense, Kay forced two fumbles and had 51 tackles, including one for loss. He also intercepted one pass and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown.
Moses ran the ball 47 times for 237 yards and two scores. On defense, Moses played linebacker and forced four fumbles, recovering two. He led the Tigers with 66 tackles, including seven for loss.
Johnson played in only five games, but had 28 tackles, including six for loss. He also forced a fumble.
