As winter weather approaches and colder temperatures set in for Christian County go ahead and get your pantries ready for snow cream.
This recipe is brought to you by Kaylee Wright, who is excited to share a piece of her family’s traditions with her community.
Wright says this recipe fulfills all expectations of winter and it’s just so simple. She mentions that it’s not the sweet treat that makes it special, but everything that surrounds the first snowfall and spending quality time with her family.
Most people often forget the creative freedom you have with snow cream, with Wright saying you can experiment with different flavors and toppings, but her personal favorite is adding chocolate chips.
Wright expresses she hopes to pass this tradition down to her family and make memories to last a lifetime.
