Wednesday is last day to give comment on TVA Integrated Resource Plan

Wednesday is the last day for the public to give feedback to the Tennessee Valley Authority about their Integrated Resource Plan, and the TVA is urging citizens to have their voices heard.

The Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) is the TVA’s proposed guide to the future of the energy system in the region for the next 25 years and while they’ve been gathering information from the public, the TVA has held ten open house events, hearing from nearly 600 participants.

So far, the public has submitted over 2,100 comments and the TVA is inviting even more.

The final version of the IRP is planned for publication in the spring of 2025, and it will include the recommended strategic portfolio direction through the year 2035.

You can check out the IRP and give comments on it on the TVA website.
