Here’s your heads up—the Hopkinsville Christmas parade is set to take place Saturday, which means several roads will be closed downtown.
The parade starts at 5:15 p.m. on December 14, and the parade route gets underway at Glass Avenue and then make its way south on Main Street towards 14th Street. So, Glass Avenue will be blocked from 2:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., along with all side streets on Glass Avenue from North Drive to Main Street.
All side streets on Main Street from Glass Avenue to 14th Street will be blocked from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and there will be no parking allowed on Main Street from Glass Avenue to 14th Street from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The annual community tree lighting ceremony will immediately follow the parade.
