The Christian County Lady Colonels’ basketball team took on a tough East Nashville squad at the Faith Harbor Kentucky/Tennessee Challenge Saturday at Warren Central High School.
East Nashville outscored Christian County 18-4 in the second quarter and went on to defeat the Lady Colonels 57-41 in the first game of the event..
Na’Vaeh Day had 15 points and seven rebounds to lead the Lady Colonels, who fell to 1-1 on the season. Anaysia Bagwell had nine points, three steals and two assists. DaNiya Bradley had 12 rebounds for Christian County.
Christian County (1-1) will play Tuesday night in a girls/boys doubleheader at Madisonville-North Hopkins. The girls’ game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. with airtime for the F&M Bank Pre-game show set for 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm.
