Local grand jury issues indictments for endangerment, fleeing crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment, fleeing from law enforcement and drug trafficking on Friday.

 Forty-six-year-old Necorryell McGregor of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly struck people with his car on October 6 following an altercation. He was indicted for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Twenty-four-year-old Octavian Tyler of Hopkinsville and 23-year-old Detraveon Chamberlain of Hopkinsville were indicted on multiple charges after they reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit that crossed into Tennessee on October 18.

Tyler was indicted for three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, using restricted ammunition during a felony, possession of a forged instrument and multiple traffic violations.

Chamberlain was indicted for three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, using restricted ammunition during a felony and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thirty-year-old Tavian Spencer of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on October 13. Spencer was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident and multiple traffic violations.

Thirty-seven-year-old Marcus Love of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on October 14. He was indicted for second-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving and other lesser charges.

Thirty-eight-year-old Bishop Howard of Hopkinsville was indicted for attempted kidnapping, harassment and public intoxication after he reportedly attempted to kidnap a one-year-old child at Westside Park on October 19. 

Thirty-nine-year-old Sean Croney of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly pistol-whipped a female victim repeatedly and discharged the firearm. Croney was indicted for second-degree domestic assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fifty-one-year-old Gloria Copeland of Hopkinsville was indicted for second-degree assault after she reportedly stabbed a victim during an argument on October 19.
