Hopkinsville and Christian County’s swimming teams went to Bowling Green to face the host Purples in a high school meet Thursday evening.
The Purples dominated the pool, winning the combined title with 1,235 points. Christian County finished with 361 and Hopkinsville was third with 249.
In the women’s meet, Bowling Green won with 586 points to 236 for Hoptown and 189 for the Lady Colonels.
Hopkinsville’s Grace Cansler won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke and Saralynn Major was second in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke. Hoptown’s Kaley Bangart was second in the 500-yard freestyle.
In the men’s meet, the Purples had 649 points to 172 for the Colonels and 13 for the Tigers.
Christian County’s Shemar Barker took second in the 100-yard breaststroke.
