A Hopkinsville man is now in custody following investigation into a shooting on Faulkner Street earlier Tuesday morning.
According to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Faulkner Street just after 1 a.m. for reports that a bullet had gone through the caller’s front wall while he and another were sitting in the room. A bullet hole was found in the wall and the round itself was located in the living room floor.
Officers went to the neighbor’s house across the street to speak with the neighbor, which is reportedly when they observed a bullet hole in the front window, across from where the victim’s residence was struck.
Contact was made with 27-year-old Talimiquis Radford of Hopkinsville, who told officers he had been sleeping but was woken up by law enforcement. A search of the residence reportedly revealed a spent shell casing laying on the living room floor, along with two firearms, one of which had been reported stolen out of Owensboro.
Radford was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property, using restricted ammunition during commission of a felony and possession of marijuana.
