Hopkinsville Police arrested 40-year-old Angela Hazelwood of Hopkinsville after she reportedly struck an individual in the head with a coffee cup resulting in injuries on Saturday.
According to a report, officers were dispatched to a residence on South Kentucky Avenue where they made contact with the victim who had a large knot and a scratch on their forehead. The victim told officers that Hazelwood reportedly struck them with a coffee cup following an argument.
Hazelwood was reportedly hiding in the residence before law enforcement located her. She was charged with second-degree assault and had two other active warrants.
