Junior Auxiliary hosts Black and White Gala to benefit nonprofit

Junior Auxiliary members invite the community to their Black and White Gala on December 28 to raise funds for the nonprofit Wings Up Outdoors.

Junior Auxiliary is a women’s service organization that focuses on volunteer work and benefitting other nonprofits.

Jessica Roseberry from the organization recently appeared on WHOP News and shared that the gala is a twist to their annual Charity Ball. Roseberry says attendees can wear their finest black and white attire, celebrate the new year and benefit a regional nonprofit.

Wings Up Outdoors is based in Cadiz and Roseberry says its mission is to create a community for veterans and retired first responders; provide life skills for children who have lost a parent in service and respond to natural disasters.

The gala is set for 7:30 p.m. on December 28 at the Silo Event Center and will include live music by the band, Arielle and the Echoes and a silent auction. Tickets can be bought through a Google form on the Junior Auxiliary Facebook page or from any member of the organization.
