The Hopkinsville Police Department is set to host a Stuff the Cruiser event on Friday to benefit the Joy Closet.
HPD will be set up at Cash Xpress on Fort Campbell Boulevard on Friday from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. where they’ll be collecting toys, coats, canned goods and gently used clothing to go towards the Joy Closet.
Monetary donations will also be accepted.
The Joy Closet is a local non-profit that support foster and kinship families by providing them with an option for clothing and other needs through their location on Belmont Street. They also have numerous programs dedicated to help children in the foster care system, such as the Hope House and Eagle Fly program.
