But now that you’ve shopped til you’ve dropped—don’t forget about Giving Tuesday, where you can help support those local non-profits in their community efforts.
The United Way of the Pennyrile is hosting a Giving Tuesday open house event at their location at 1110 South Main Street from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. They’re inviting all partner agencies—of which the support 18 in the community—board members and the entire community to swing by to meet with the United Way and those partner agencies to learn more about who they are and what work they do for those in need.
There will be snacks and apple cider available, and they’ll be accepting donations—but if you can’t make it to the open house, you can always donate online through the United Way of the Pennyrile website.
