Pothole repair set to take place on U.S. 62 in Livingston Co.

A daytime lane restriction for U.S. 62 in Livingston County has been postponed until December 5.

The closure is to allow for crews with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to patch a pothole on the U.S. 62 Cumberland River Bridge along U.S. 62 near the 3-mile-marker near Lake City, as well as clean drains and the gutter line.

The work zone is expected to be in place starting at 8 a.m. and ending by 4 p.m., on Thursday, December 5. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

The U.S. 62 Cumberland River Bridge, also known as the Blue Bridge, is at the Livingston-Lyon County Line immediately below Barkley Dam at Lake City.
