The Clarksville Police Department is now actively investigating a homicide that occurred early Tuesday morning on Chapel Street.
According to a news release, officers responded to a residence on Chapel Street from before 5 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a deceased male victim with a gunshot wound. Witnesses told officers that two individuals had entered the residence, shot the victim and then fled the scene.
No other information was immediately available as detectives remain on scene conducting an investigation.
