After attempting to conduct a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle, Hopkinsville Police and Christian County Sheriff’s deputies were led on a pursuit that ended in Clarksville on Saturday.
According to a report from Hopkinsville Police, officers received a notification concerning a stolen vehicle in the area of East 1st Street near the railroad tracks. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it reportedly fled into Clarksville and reached speeds up to 120 MPH.
The pursuit ended near the Clarksville Greenway on Peachers Mill Road. The car reportedly had four juvenile occupants and three of them were apprehended and taken into custody by Clarksville Police officers for receiving stolen property. The investigation is ongoing.
