Slow start dooms CCHS in basketball scrimmage

Meanwhile, Christian County got off to a slow start and dropped a scrimmage game to Louisville Butler Saturday at Louisville Fairdale.

Coach Dior Curtis said the team played much better after the first quarter.

“We turned the ball over against their pressure but when in half court we executed decently,” Curtis said. “We rebounded well. Our youth and inexperience showed up at the beginning, but we settled in as the game went on.”

The Colonels played without Nadarien Rowe, Josh Bridges, and Aiden Jesse. Christian County scrimmages Todd County Central Saturday afternoon in Lyle Dunbar Gym.
