An Owensboro woman was injured in a crash at the intersection of Cadiz Road and the Eagle Way Bypass Tuesday.
According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, the wreck happened in the intersection just before noon when a vehicle operated by 57-year-old Deidra Mills of Owensboro began to go through the intersection with a greenlight. That’s when another vehicle operated by 20-year-old Kayden Watkins of Gracey went through the intersection heading eastbound down Cadiz Road.
The two collided in the intersection.
Mills was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries to her chest and legs. Watkins and a passenger refused treatment at the scene.
