Infant murder suspects, Alexander and Dakota Heck appeared in Christian Circuit Court on Wednesday where a trial date was set for their case.
The pair is charged in connection to the murder of an infant in their home in March 2022. Alexander Heck is charged with murder and Dakota Heck is charged with complicity to murder. The victim was the child of a mother that was reportedly staying with the Heck’s at the time.
Alexander Heck is represented by Michael Thompson and Dakota Heck is represented by Stephanie Mize and Doug Moore. Both cases are currently set be tried together, but the attorneys may file to separate the trials.
Circuit Judge Andrew Self scheduled the trial for the week of May 12, 2025 and the pair will reappear in court on January 22 for a pretrial conference.
