Lyon County was recently granted $2.4 million from the Delta Regional Authority’s Community Infrastructure Fund for a water reliability project.
According to a news release from the Pennyrile Area Development District (PeADD), the Authority issues grants through the fund that supports community-based projects that address flood control, public infrastructure, transportation and much more.
The investment in Lyon County will go toward a public infrastructure project that is combining three separate water projects among the water districts serving the county to increase the reliability and resilience of the water supply.
