Clarksville man arrested following investigation into South Christian Elementary threat

A Clarksville man is facing charges in relation to investigation into possible threats against South Christian Elementary School Monday morning.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, investigation into the possible threat that was made around lunchtime led to the eventual arrest of 38-year-old Jayvis Hall of Clarksville.  Upon initial search, no threat was found at the school, but Hall was apprehended by the Clarksville Police Department on Morningside Drive in Clarksville.

He was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening, falsely reporting an incident and violation of a Kentucky Emergency Protective Order. 

He was lodged in the Montgomery County Detention Center to await extradition to Christian County. 

The investigation continues, with the sheriff’s office thanking the Clarksville Police Department for their collaborative effort to ensure public safety.
