Thanks to Logan County’s upset win over Warren East last Friday night, the Hopkinsville Tigers’ football team is on the outside of the playoffs looking in as the final week of the regular season takes place this Frdiay night.
Hoptown, Logan, and Warren East are all 2-3 in Class 4-A, District 1. However, Hoptown’s RPI is .48261, which is just behind Logan’s .48802 and Warren East’s .53202. The Tigers will need to defeat Louisville PRP this Friday night and hope for a Logan County loss to South Warren to get into the playoffs as a No. 4 seed.
The Tigers play host to PRP at 7 p.m. Friday. The game can be heard beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
