Paving operations for KY 107, also known as Lafayette Road, were originally set to begin on Tuesday but have been delayed to Friday.
Contractors from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are set to pave around four miles of KY 107 from the Eagle Way Bypass intersection to East 9th Street intersection.
The project is expected to be completed in three weeks and in the meantime, motorists are asked to seek alternative routes and on street parking will be prohibited at multiple locations.
