A study conducted by SmartAsset has ranked Hopkinsville Community College as the top community college in the state.
SmartAsset—a financial technology company the provides financial information and advice to consumers, along with providing tools and guides—compared 616 two-year institutions that offer associate degrees based on retention rates, student-to-faculty ratio, and tuition and fees to determine the best community colleges across the United States.
SmartAsset narrowed it down to the best community college in each state and Hopkinsville Community College is claiming the title in Kentucky.
HCC’s retention rate was marked as 63 percent, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 16, and in-state tuition and fees set at $4,560.
