The bracket is set for the Girls’ Region 2 Soccer Tournament, scheduled for next week at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School.
The draw was held this morning with games beginning on Monday night.
In the top portion of the bracket of games on Monday, District 5 champion Trigg County (14-5-1) will take on District 6 runner-up Union County (2-16-1) at 5:30 p.m. That game will be followed by District 7 champion Madisonville-North Hopkins (11-6-1) against District 8 runner-up Hopkinsville (13-9-1) at 7:15.
In the bottom part of the bracket of games to be played on Tuesday night, District 8 champion University Heights Academy (14-3) will play District 7 runner-up Hopkins County Central (12-7-1) at 5:30 p.m. and District 6 champion Henderson County (13-6) will meet District 5 runner-up Lyon County (9-9) at 7:15.
The semifinals are scheduled for Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. and the championship match is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday night.
