University Heights Academy and Heritage Christian Academy competed in the Daviess County Invitational Cross-Country Meet on Saturday in Owensboro.
Cole Glover was the top finisher for UHA. The senior took 34th place overall in the boys’ varsity race in a time of 17:48.6.
Graham Conrad took 76th with a time of 19:02.3 and Jude Finch was 84th in 19:09.4.
Others running for UHA included Zech Davis (145, 21:18.8), Garret Bowling (159, 22:31.2) and Eyan Jones (174, 25:21).
Josh Farmer was the lone runner for HCA, finishing in a time of 23:46.8.
In the Middle School girls’ race, Lacy Smith was 74th in 29:38.5 for HCA.
In the Middle School boys’ Scar Venable (28, 17:32.40) and Hayden Hayes (38, 18:19.10) earned top-40 finishes for UHA. Also running for the Blazers were Lane Loden (41, 18:30) and Lucas Stine (61, 19:42.40).
Ben Hensley was 30th in 17:41.10 for HCA.
Genna Calhoun earned a 23rd-place finish for the Lady Warriors in the JV girls’ race.
In the boys’ JV run, UHA’s Cadyn Travis ran 19th in 20:17.70. Others running for the Blazers included Ryan GoForth (69, 25:30.50) and Kollin Stokes (81, 35:18.10).
The Warriors’ Aaron Hensley was 22nd in 20:22.10
HCA’s Tristan Hensley took 47th in the boys’ Elementary race in a time of 22:37.60.
