HPD seizes large amount of meth

The Hopkinsville Police Department has seized a large amount of methamphetamine following investigation into drug trafficking Thursday. 

According to a news release, a search warrant was executed at a residence on East 12th Street, where law enforcement located and seized a large amount of methamphetamine, in a powder form and in pill form. 

The seizure was part of a multi-agency investigation that included in the DEA Paducah Post of Duty, Kentucky State Police, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and Hopkinsville police. 

The investigation is ongoing.
