The Boys’ District 8 Soccer Tournament will get underway Saturday afternoon at University Heights Academy.
Fifth seed Heritage Christian Academy (1-11-1) will take on fourth seed Fort Campbell (7-7-2) in the play-in game at 4 p.m. The winner will take on top seed UHA (12-7) at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The other semifinal game will feature second seed Hopkinsville (6-12) against third seed Christian County (11-6) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The championship match is scheduled for 6 p.m. Oct. 10.
Meanwhile, the Girls’ District 8 Tournament will begin with the semifinal round on Monday. Top seed and host UHA (12-3) will play fourth seed Christian County (2-15-1) at 5:30 p.m. Second seed Hopkinsville (12-8-1) will play third seed Fort Campbell (8-6) at 7 p.m.
The girls’ championship match will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Both the winner and runner-up will advance to the Region 2 Tournament.
Tickets will be cash only and will cost $8. Children 5-and-under will be admitted free.
