Oak Grove Tourism receives award for Spring into Summer Festival

The Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell Festival continues to rake in the accolades, the Oak Tourism Commission was awarded a Bronze Pinnacle Award for Best Overall Entertainment Program on Monday.  

The commission was presented with the award at the annual International Festival and Events Association Convention hosted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Pinnacle Awards are presented to tourism agencies across the world for outstanding festivals, events and community outreach programs.

The commission received the award for their 17th annual Spring into Summer Festival in May which included live music from Bret Michaels, the front man and the band Poison.

In a news release, Commission Executive Director Traci Cunningham says she was proud to receive the award and that the passion, dedication and creativity of her team and the unwavering support of their loyal attendees makes the festival what it is today.

Looking toward the future, Cunningham says the commission remains committed to crafting exceptional festival experiences that resonate with their dedicated audience.
