The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers and Hopkinsville Lady Tigers met for the second time this high school volleyball season Monday night in Blazer Gym.
The Lady Blazers picked up their second win over their cross-town rivals with a 3-0 (25-7. 25-7, 25-19) victory.
Olivia Oakley had four kills and five digs and Taylor Cantrell had five kills to lead the Lady Blazers, who improved to 3-2 in District 8 play.
Niyati Patel had three blocks, Katherine Wood had six digs and Gretchen Durham provided 13 assists.
Hopkinsville, which did not report statistics, slipped to 0-6 in District play.
The Lady Blazers improved to 6-14 overall and will play at Christian County tonight in another district match. Hopkinsville slipped to 2-15 overall and will play at Union County tonight.
