The Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School girls’ cross-country team posted another good outing Saturday at the Paducah St. Mary Invitational.
Madeline Lose took fifth overall with a personal best time of 7:02.85 and helped the Saints finish sixth place as a team even though they were missing several runners.
Serenity Anderson was 40th with a time of 8:09.80 and Karleigh Walker was 41st in 8:10.10. Others running for the Saints included Valentina Onate (44, 8:19.22), Bex Phillips (49, 8:24.92), Hallie Casey (67, 9:20.94), Maebry Jones (73, 9:35.78), Kennedy Walker (74, 9:36.58), Kaeline Adams (82, 10:07.71) and Harely Bush (83, 10:15.96).
The boys’ squad took eighth place and were led by Patrick Hogan, who ran 49th in a time of 8:17.33). Isaias Onate was 52nd and Finnigan Roberts took 53rd with times of 8:45.36 and 8:46.96, respectively.
Other running for the Saints included Cash Burroughs (60, 9:27.01), Colton Mabry (73, 10:08.60) and Beau Burroughs (80, 10:54.17).
Korie Hurt had another fantastic run in the girls’ middle school race for the Saints. She finished eighth overall in a time of 18:30.81. Abigayle Atchley was 62nd in 26:38.03
In the boys’ middle school race, Kannon Hurt was the top runner for the Saints, finishing 56th in a time of 23:36.75. Jonas McFadden was 62nd in 25:39.07.
