Kaydon Coats scored twice and provided an assist and the host Hopkinsville Lady Tigers used another strong defensive effort to blank Muhlenberg County 4-0 Thursday night in a girls’ high school soccer match.
Lauren Jones and Lila Jorgensen also scored for the Lady Tigers, who won for the third straight time to improve to 9-6-1 on the season.
Kaylyn Lynch and Grace Cansler provided assists for Hoptown.
Jaleigha McFarland had seven saves to pick up the win in goal.
Hopkinsville returns to action Monday night against Crittenden County at the Stadium of Champions.
