The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department is investigation a two-vehicle, head-on collision that resulted in injuries early Wednesday morning.
According to a news release, the crash happened just before 6 a.m. in the 500 block of Elva Road in Madisonville, when a vehicle operated by 33-year-old Elberto Ramos was heading northbound on Elva Road at the same moment a motorcycle driven by 34-year-old Justin Conard was heading southbound.
The two met in the curve and collided.
Conrad was flown to an out-of-state hospital for treatment of severe injuries. Ramos was not injured.
