The Christian County Lady Colonels secured the top seed in next month’s District 8 volleyball tournament with a 3-1 highly-charged win over host University Heights Academy Tuesday night.
The Lady Blazer won the opening set 25-21 before the Lady Colonels rebounded to win the next three, 25-15, 25-23, 25-20.
Christian County improves to 4-0 in district play and is 5-10 on the season. UHA has lost two straight district matches and is now 2-2 in district play and 4-9 overall.
Statistics were not available from either team after the match ended.
