Man charged in Clarksville fatal shooting

A suspect has been arrested as the result of a homicide investigation into the shooting death of a man on Ash Ridge Drive last week.

As previously reported, the victim—identified as 18-year-old Carlos Wills of Lebanon, Tennessee—was found near Ash Ridge Drive and was transported to a Nashville hospital, where he would succumb to his injuries, sparking a homicide investigation.

That investigation by the Clarksville Police Department’s Intelligence Unit, Criminal Investigations and Special Operations Homicide Unit led to an arrest warrant being issued for 20-year-old Za’Kwon Jaterrion Holliday of Clarksville.

Holliday was located and taken into custody in Nashville Friday evening and charged with homicide.

The investigation continues.
