Heritage Christian Academy’s cross-country teams competed Saturday in the Muhlenberg County Mustang Stampede in Greenville.
Aaron Hensley paced HCA with an 80th-place finish in 20:42.34. Others competing for the Warriors in the boys’ high school division included Cadyn Travis (105, 21:25.25), Josh Farmer (146, 23:18.15), and Ryan Goforth (187, 26:41.82).
Daviess County won the team title with 57 points and Apollo was second with 77.
Apollo’s Emmitt Brock won the individual crown with a time of 16:18.19.
In the girls’ meet, Genna Calhoun was 79th to lead Heritage Christian Academy. Her time was 28:11.12.
In the girls’ varsity race, Daviess County had 42 points to edge Owensboro Catholic (45) and Graves County (76).
Ohio County’s Morgan Kobylinski won the individual race in a time of 18:57.70. Owensboro Catholic’s Peyton Red was second in 20:20.79.
In the middle school division, Heritage Christian’s Lucy Smith was the lnone representative for the school and finished 100th in 31:06.26).
The HCA boys were led by Levi Johnston, who took eighth in 16:14.23. Others competing for the Warriors included Ben Hensley (47, 19:46.26) and Luke Johnston (79, 23:59.62).
In the elementary school division, HCA’s boys’ team took eighth place led by Levi Geyer’s 47th-place finish in 16:23.85.
Others running for HCA included Judah Geyer (70, 18:08.10), Colton Struble (81, 20:00.13), Richard Roberts (91, 20:59.31) and Elijah Heltsley (109, 25:29.89).
For the Lady Warriors, Lana Mullins ran 34th in 17:26.83.
