The Western Kentucky State Fairgrounds hosts the much-anticipated Annual Fall Pull and Derby, so mark your calendars for September 20 and 21.

This is a weekend packed full of entertainment, where attendees get a chance to experience a little bit of everything. Brad Hewell, the president of the fair board says, is excited to announce they will kick off the weekend with the Farm and Altered Farm Tractor & Truck Pull on Friday night and the Demolition Derby will be Saturday night.

Seasoned attendees will recognize many of the familiar faces participating in the events. This year, however, there is a new addition to the lineup, the first-ever semi pull. This addition hopes to bring in a wave of new participants for the future Fall Pulls.

The tickets are affordably priced at $10 for grandstand seats, pit access is $10, pit parking will be $20, children aged 5 and under will get in free. The gates open at 6:00 PM, with the pulls and derby starting at 7:00 PM.

If you are interested in participating in the tractor pull, weigh-in and registration will start at 3:00 PM at the Southern States on West 15th Street.

Hewell says they are thrilled about this year’s event, explaining the Western Kentucky Fairground has been a proud host since 2018, with the pulls starting up shortly after. The fair ground has undergone recent improvements to seating and lighting to improve the overall experience for guests.
