The Chainsaw Showdown is coming to the Madisonville Harvest Fest on September 27 and 28.
The new addition to the annual fall event will spark curiosity among spectators, as they will get to see artists transform raw logs into artwork. The contest is welcoming in six of the top carvers from across the U.S., artics will carve three pieces daily with a total of 36 pieces at the end of the event.
The weekend is free to attendees, however, all 36 handcrafted sculptures will be showcased at 3:00 PM on September 28, so spectators can have an opportunity to take home a piece of their own.
The event will be held at the Mahr Park Arboretum and will feature a variety of activities and attractions for all ages. Attendees can also enjoy a delightful selection of seasonal foods from local vendors, so be sure to not miss out on the fun.
The Harvest Fest will start at 5:00 PM on September 27 and continue until 9:00 PM. It will then resume the next day, September 28, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
