Hopkinsville firefighters were able to make quick work of a fire that sparked at a facility on Skyline Drive Wednesday afternoon that came with a unique challenge.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, crews responded to the 1100 block of Skyline for reports of a piece of machinery that was on fire, but that machinery was located roughly 80 feet above the ground and isolated from the rest of the facility.
Fire fighters were able to make their way to the top of the building, where they located the small fire and quickly extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured in the incident.
