Motorists traveling on U.S. 641 near Eddyville should anticipate some delays Wednesday and Thursday as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet look to do some pothole repairs.
According to a news release, the pothole repairs will take place at Railroad Bridge in Eddyville starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday and running until 3 p.m.—that same timeline will take place against Thursday, with one lane blocked each day to allow for work to be completed.
Motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic with an alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
