Hopkinsville Police arrested 49-year-old Gerald Thomas of Hopkinsville on Monday after he reportedly stole items from a victim and sold them to a pawn shop.
According to a report from police, the victim noticed that several pieces of jewelry had been stolen from their home and were discovered at a pawn shop. The pawn shop reportedly told law enforcement that Thomas was who sold the jewelry to them.
Along with the jewelry, the victim stated that a firearm was also stolen from their home.
Thomas was charged with theft by unlawful taking, first-degree criminal mischief, theft of a firearm and theft by deception.
