The Christian County Colonels placed three runners in the top 15 and took second place at the Christian County Invitational Cross Country meet Saturday morning at the Hopkinsville Community College.
Wyatt Fleming took sixth place and Michael Webb finished seventh in 18:25.20 and 18:41.60, respectively for the Colonels, who had 71 points. Dawson Springs won the meet with 69.
Cayden Cline was 15th for Christian County as he crossed the finish line in 19:21.60.
Rex Taggart was 28th in 20:59.20. Other Colonels competing included Nolan Long (34th, 21:22.60) and Hector Munoz (64th, 23:02.40).
Heritage Christian Academy took 10th as a team and were led by Cadyn Travis’ 38th place finish in 21.30.90.
In the girls’ varsity meet, Murray’s Jade Green won the individual championship, crossing the finish line in 21:35.70.
Christian County’s Taylor Morris finished seventh overall in a time of 24:06.70. Ellie Brown was 16th in 27:01.
Hopkinsville won the team event with 36 points. Northwest was second (53) and Dawson Springs took third with 63 points.
