In girls’ high school soccer Thursday night, Madisonville-North Hopkins scored three quick goals in the first half on the way to an 8-1 win over host Hopkinsville at the Stadium of Champions.
The game was close for the first 10 minutes before the Lady Maroons’ scoring flurry.
Kaydon Coats scored Hopkinsville’s only goal on an assist from Rebecca Wood. Jaleigha McFarland had 18 saves in goal.
