The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that U.S. 41 in Hopkinsville will be restricted to traffic on Thursday, August 22 for lane reconstruction.
Motorists should expect the road to be closed through Tuesday, August 27, during that time crews will remove the existing median to create a new left turning lane on to Bill Bryan Boulevard.
The road’s north and southbound lanes will be restricted, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will ensure safe driving with appropriate equipment, flaggers and personnel who will be along the roadway directing traffic flow for drivers.
