If you like sunny, dry weather then this week is just for you, as it looks to have blue skies and nearly no chances of rain in store.
Forecaster Keith Cooley with the National Weather Service in Paducah says the week will actually start with cooler temperatures than one would expect for mid-August, but they’ll quickly ramp back up to more seasonable ranges.
There’s little to no rain chances in the forecast, with Cooley saying that does mean some areas are starting to reach the beginning stages of drought conditions.
It’s looking like more of the same heading into next week—the 8-to-14 day outlook shows higher than average temperatures in store, but with less than average or near normal chances for precipitation.
