Grand Jury issues indictments for assault, endangerment crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for assault, endangerment and drug trafficking related crimes on Friday.

Jamario Whitlock, age 36 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on first-degree assault after he reportedly stabbed a victim with a knife multiple times resulting in serious physical injury in April.

Keonte Lamar, age 25 of Lexington, was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly fled from law enforcement in July. Lamar is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, possession of restricted ammunition, operating a vehicle with an expired license, failure to maintain required insurance and having expired registration plates.

Kenneth Thornton, age 46 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly fled from law enforcement as they attempted to perform a traffic stop on him in June. Thornton is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, improper turning, failure to signal, possession of an open container of alcohol and operating a vehicle on a suspended license.

Kimberly Harrell, age 40 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on multiple charges after she reportedly fired a gun toward a person’s house following an altercation in July. Harrell was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts of possessing a controlled substance in an inappropriate container and having expired registration plates.

Eddie Juckett, age 53 of Hopkinsville, was indicted on multiple charges when he was found to reportedly be in possession of drugs in July. Juckett was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to maintain required insurance.
