The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers found their offensive footing in the second half and defeated Logan County 3-0 Tuesday night in a girls’ high school soccer match at the Stadium of Champions.
The two teams were tied 0-0 at halftime, but Hopkinsville (1-0) took over early in the second half.
Kaydon Coats had a pair of goals and Lauren Mayes scored for the Lady Tigers.
Rebecca Wood had two assists and Kaylynn Lynch added an assist for Hoptown, which plays Thursday night at Lyon County.
Jaliegha Macfarland had three saves and recorded the shutout in goal.
In the JV game, the Lady Tigers and Lady Cougars played to a 2-2 draw.
Jaycee Shanklin had a pair of goals for Hopkinsville.
