University Heights Academy got in its final soccer tune-up of the exhibition season Thursday night with a 4-1 victory over visiting Todd County Central.
Harlow Hampton scored on an assist from Cal Givens and Griffin McCoy found the net on an assist from Logan Miller as the Blazers grabbed a 2-1 halftime lead.
In the second half, Hugh Sisk scored on a free kick and Hayden Hunt had a goal for the final score.
The Blazers will open the regular season Monday night at perennial Region 2 power Madisonville-North Hopkins. The Maroons ended UHA’s season last year in the semifinal round of the Region 2 tournament, 4-1.
