Hopkinsville Police arrested 31-year-old Xzavier Mallory of Hopkinsville early Saturday morning after he reportedly pointed a loaded shotgun at multiple people following a verbal altercation.
According to a report, police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Wooldridge Road and made contact with the victim who was assaulted by Mallory. The victim stated that they got into an argument with Mallory in a car parked in front of the residence before he reportedly punched them in the face and dragged them out of the car and into the driveway.
Mallory then went into the residence where he allegedly got ahold of the victim’s shotgun and pointed it at four children and the victim and threatened to kill them all. Following the threats, Mallory reportedly placed the shotgun under a mattress and fled from the scene.
Mallory was charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree terroristic threatening.
